Oversteger Studios is an independent natural history studio created by Rick Overson and Laura Steger.
We believe that careful observation, thoughtful organization, and open sharing can help more people discover and understand biodiversity. Through software development, photography, scientific illustration, open data, and long-term field projects, we create freely available resources that make the natural world more accessible.
Each project is built around the same idea: to observe, document, organize, and share knowledge in ways that are useful to naturalists, educators, researchers, and anyone curious about the living world.
